Date: Monday, September 28th, 2020 from 6:00-9:00 pm.
Location: Fast Eddy’s Restaurant & virtually via Zoom. Pizza will be provided at Fast Eddy’s.
What:
The Alaska to Alberta Railway Development Corporation (A2A Rail), is a new venture established to build, own, and operate a new railway connecting the Alaska Railroad and Alaska’s tidewater, to northern Alberta (1,600 miles).
Why:
As A2A nears a more detailed phase of the project, local feedback and comments are needed from the Tok community. During this presentation, A2A will provide an overview of the project, share specifics about the route, explain the local, economic, and environmental impacts considered to date, and convey the proposed next steps for the project. Following the presentation, A2A will open the meeting to questions and comments from the community.
